Cedric has a penchant for identifying talent and nurturing success. He is a longstanding member of the Barbados Public Workers – Cooperative Credit Union and has served on its Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors.

He is President of the Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados, Chairman of the Barbados Accreditation Council and the National Initiative of Service Excellence.

His Public Service career spanned 42 years in Air Traffic Management during which time he served on several local, regional and international bodies. One of his signal achievements was serving as the Executive Vice President for the Americas of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations.

Mr. Murrell is a Certified Credit Union Director, is certified in Public Administration and holds a Diploma in Aviation Management from the IATA Training Institute.

Now retired Cedric enjoys reading, traveling and performing civic duties.
